Today’s issue of Das Magazin, a Swiss weekly, has a short piece on Ayres’ and Nalebuff’s Wall Street Journal article suggesting consumers to charge for telemarketer’s phone calls. The author (Alain Zucker) also mentions recent activities particulary by Microsoft to pay its search engine users for consuming ads. It’s a well written, easy-to-understand-for-everyone article. However, the author does not discuss in depth how to avoid click fraud and other scams by consumers. He names the possibility do exclude people who never buy something or to introduce some kind of capping. But these solutions don’t seem to be very convincing…
