Hi, this is my personal research blog. I am a PhD candidate, research and teaching associate at the University of Zurich’s Institute of Mass Communication (IPMZ). I am part of the Division on Media Change & Innovation led by Prof. Michael Latzer. Here, I post random stuff related (or non-related) to my dissertation project. I am interested in the technology, economics and politics of ranking algorithms – all sorts of automated communication systems such as search engines, news aggregators, computational advertising, reputation and recommender systems.
